Saudi vs UAE buyers: what blouse importers should know
Both are Gulf markets with modest-dress demand, but Saudi and UAE buyers differ in certification, size demand, seasonality and buying rhythm. Knowing which you serve changes how you spec an order.
1. Certification routes
Saudi Arabia requires SABER (PCoC + SCoC), initiated by the Saudi importer. The UAE uses ECAS / EQM, initiated by the UAE importer. In both cases we supply the composition and product data; we do not file the certificate. See the certification guide for the full steps.
2. Size demand
Saudi demand runs larger at the top - 5XL is a real selling size there. UAE buying is broader but still modest-cut; both sit one to two sizes larger than EU high-street (see the sizing guide).
3. Seasonality
Both bend around Ramadan and Eid, but the UAE also has a strong year-round tourist and expat market, so summer casual sells outside the festival window. Plan Saudi more around the religious calendar; plan UAE with a steadier baseline.
4. Buying rhythm
Saudi orders often come through established trading families and agents; UAE buying includes more direct importers and a busy re-export trade to the wider region. Both reach us through WhatsApp and the catalogue.
5. How we support each
We hold the same made-to-order model, 300 MOQ and modest block for both, and tailor the label text and certification data to the destination market. Start from the Saudi Arabia page or UAE page, then message us on WhatsApp.
